ur wines exemplify the terroir and climate of Michigan and her many lakes.  This location was especially chosen for not only its beauty but for the soil quality, topography and for the mature cherry trees already producing our most popular local fruit.

The Leelanau Peninsula AVA (formed 1982) is a Nationally and Internationally recognized American Viticultural Area. Leelanau Peninsula sits perfectly between Lake Michigan on the west and Grand Traverse Bay on the east. These surrounding waters help to stabilize the climate of the region, which is typically too cold for viticulture.  With 145 calendar days per year, the climate is adequate for grape growing. The glacial deposits of clay, sand, and loam on top of bedrock of granite and limestone make the soil in Leelanau Peninsula not only complex but ideal for the varieties of grapes grown here like Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, just to name a few.

Each wine is estate produced, showcasing both the unique terroir of Leelanau as well as our winemakers dedication to crafting exceptional wines.
